Aleema Jamal is a third year student at Harvard Law School. In her time at law school, Aleema has been actively involved within the negotiation community as a Teaching Assistant for HLS’ Negotiation Workshop and for Negotiation and Conflict Management: From the Interpersonal to the International. She has a deep passion for international development and negotiation. Her international experience includes engaging on transitional justice and governance issues for Syria and South Sudan, working on the policy team for the Asia-Africa Summit on Chronic Diseases, and leading health and technology-focused development projects in East Africa and South Asia. Prior to law school, Aleema was the Executive Director of the Century Initiative, a Canadian non-profit organization, and a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company.
In addition to the Core INP Team listed here, INP collaborates with a wide range of faculty and students at Harvard University as well as with global leaders, field experts, and organizations engaged in conflict resolution.
